Also at the Moors this morning about 9.30 from the Jacob's hide a good view of an otter and on the west track male and female Bullfiinch .

My first Yellowhammer at Upton since 2011 😲😲 (found by @orioleboy) was around the Moors feeding stations from Jacobs' & concrete hides this afternoon. Nothing else of much interest, although there are now nine male Pochards.

The Flashes this afternoon was very quiet! Only 5 BH Gull and 4 Moorhen, hardly any small birds on the way too and from the Avocet hide - eerily quiet! More on the sailing lake with GC Grebe, C Geese, Tufted Duck, Mallard and Cormorant.
At the Moors were: Shelduck, L Egret, G Heron, Greylag Geese, Mute Swan, C Pochard, Tufted Duck, Mallards, Lapwing, Water Rail, Moorhen and Coot. Also a fly over Snipe at dusk.
