It's only Rock and Roller but I like it
Probable Caspian Gull at the Flashes plus adult Med.
We are hoping to come down for the roost tonight at the Flashes. Is one of our wonderful wardens going to be around to lock up after dark, or do I need to park at the Moors and hoof it across?
The first-winter Caspian Gull that was at the Flashes this evening looks remarkably similar to this bird at Chasewater yesterday evening: https://twitter.com/CWG_sightings/status/835206837737820161

That is pretty much the bird I had at Swanshurst Park the other week too. Interesting!
You mean the bird that caused so much controversy?
Des.
Two bird theory? Tonight's bird very different, IMHO, to the one I saw at Swanshurst.

Totals: 1 Caspian Gull, 2 Med Gull, Barn Owl, 3 Green Sand, 1800c BHG, c500 mixed large Gulls (c80% LBBG) 13 Teal, 20 Curlew, 2 Shelduck, 20 Avocet.
The case for the Swanshurst Park bird being a Yellow-legged Gull is made very well by Tim Marlow here.
