A brief visit to the Moors Pool at #uptonwarren this morning produced nothing new for the year. However, there were 2 darvic-ringed BHGs present - 24H0 (black characters on white ring), present for its 6th successive year, having been ringed 10/6/13 at Cerney Wick in the Cotswold Water Park. The second darvic-ringed BHG was 2ECF (white characters on black ring). First noted on the reserve on 26th March this year, it was ringed at Marsh Lane Reserve, Meriden on 6th June 2020. Attached photos were both taken earlier this year.

This afternoon produced another darvic-ringed BHG on the Flashes. This one, a female, is on one of the new islands & carries ring 2FAA (white characters on a black ring). It was ringed at Marsh Lane Reserve, Meriden 7th June 2022. Attached are details of all sightings to date & a photo, plus a photo of a male Lapwing seen close the hide.
