I realize that wild birds will do just fine without my feeders for a few weeks while I'm out of town on vacation, but is it better to leave the empty feeders hanging out, or should I put them away completely? Or does it make absolutely no difference?
I am putting away the birdbath as the water gets really nasty in just a day and I wouldn't want to make any birds sick. But I wasn't sure about the feeders.
With any luck while I'm gone, the 40 or so Dove will find a new place to gorge at.
