Hello from Manaus,
It is being our third day of birding.
We are having a great time.
Specially, yesterday, when we went to Presidente Figueiredo County. It is about 100km/60 miles Norht of Manaus.
It is the Home for the Cock-of-the-Rock.
This time of the year they are nesting. We got the female on the nest.
Some other hightlights were Crimson Topas, Mouriche Oriole, Pompadour Cotinga and Paradise Tanager. We also saw "tons" of Cuvier's and Yellow-ridged Toucans, Blue-and-Yellow and Scarlet Macaws.
