Wader in grass ID help please, S Thailand, March 19m 2023 (1 Viewer)

I am stumped by the wader in the attached photos. Perhaps it is a Common Sandpiper and its upright pose is throwing me off There does seem to be a white shoulder in the first photo. But, It does not seem to me to be a Common. Yet i cannot identify it with any degree of certainty. Hopefully there is enough in these two photos, though nothing of the breast, that someone can ID it.
All comments, suggestions and corrections most welcome.

Hi Steve, you initial impressions were correct indeed - Common Sandpiper.

You can see the white shoulder mark in pic 1, and the upperparts are appropriately uniform.
