Hi,
All birds from 31.05, Ria de Alvor, South Portugal.
1. 7256 and 7258 - one bird. Broad-billed or Curlew Sandpiper?
2. 7303, 7305, 7308 - Black-bellied or Golden Plover?
3. 7312 - Black-tailed or Bar-tailed Godwits? If they are identifiable at all...
4. 7329, 7330-1, 7330-2 - ???
5. 7361 - Thick-knee?
Many thanks for the hard work! :)
Viktor

Thank you very much Rafael,
In addition to my Thick-knee candidate, two more photos. The legs look too long and light for Grey Plover IMHO. And white belly... No?
And those two lines on the wing on the main picture.

Both Grey Plovers I'm afraid. On the 1st pic the smaller wader might be a Dunlin (don't take this as an ID).

Not convinced. Maybe common sandpiper.
Re photos 7256 and 7258. The upperwing pattern of the bird flying is diagnostic. As this is the same bird wading on the previous photo (per the OP), the upperparts (mantle/scaps) are also visibly variegated light ferruginous and grey, indicating a summer plumaged bird. Structure is also clearly of Calidris, not Actitis.

I'm with you here: Sanderling. I initially struggled with the wading bird because the image is so poor---considered and discarded knot, dunlin---but Sanderling is correct. Agree pattern of flying bird is wrong for common sand

Ok, I give up with Thick-knee, appreciate your help, guys so much. And agree with Sanderling.
The last question - Golden Plover would be my lifer, can you please point out the features which distinguish it from Grey Plover (on my photo).
Thank you.
