Warbler (1 Viewer)

General consensus from here is Willow Warbler but your photos don't give a lot of detail.

One that got away I'm afraid.

Agree bedraggled Willow is the most likely option. Must admit I was surprised by how bright green/yellow the flight feather edges were in contrast to the overall colour which is what drew my attention to the bird. This isn't that clear in the photos, (nor is the rest of the bird...sorry) they were all we could get from a vehicle. This then combined with what appears to be quite a grey head nape and face did start to make me take a second look....certainly never seen a Willow looking like this before. There was also some whitish edging to the wing coverts which can just be seen forming a slight bar.

I know the photos aren't going to get any id, just thought I's stick them up anyway for comments in case anyone spotted something obvious.
