Hello,
I found this old picture from my trip to the Olympic Peninsula I took in 2016. Pictures where taken next to a hiking trail on Klahhane Ridge Trail. Elevation was probably around 6000 feet (1800m). Could this be a juvenile Song Sparrow? I'm confused by the lack of malar stripes.
I'm from Europe - so I've got no experience with American birds and used the National geographic field guide (DUNN, ALDERER)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance
