Ouch!I am not a happy camper!.... :C
Mike
I'm just choosing the frame now.
Long way to go yet Mike - I'm keeping some powder dry.Hmm. Buyer six has now entered the auction. Maybe I'll sell him the frame.
Ouch - I have a similar commute, but it's once a week and I often see G W Egrets from the train - so I won't complain. Except it's tomorrow, my feet are aching and I don't want to go.
Well done Nick! That blackcap really is a beauty!
I've went through the business routine about 3 years ago, mainly for tax purposes because I'd sold one large, expensive abstract painting and wanted to make sure I did everything legit. But since then the paperwork or electronic web work these days is amazing: federal taxes, state taxes, local taxes, special state taxes! Since I don't sell much the money doesn't add up but the paperwork sure does!
Just had a response off the agency who are supposed to be paying for the use of these illustrations. On the phone we agreed 100 euros, this morning he sends me an email offering me 80 instead, so I question it. He insists that he stated 100 DOLLARS as the price ( for the French, foreigners MUST be American). I replied, but not in my usual corteous fashion, I said I have no idea why he would quote a price in Dollars, the USA is miles away, and 100 Dollars isn't 80 Euros anyway. I'm getting my 100 Euros now!
Well, I will once I've worked out how to do a bill!
Wondering how I'm going to keep paperwork for things like postcards, surely I can't send a bill with every single one! (Bien sûr que si!* they'll say)
* of course you can
Bluethroat and snipe will make excellent cards - no doubt. Depending on the quality of the scans and printer, the results may look somewhat detached from your original - but try not to be overconcerned; no-one will see original and print side by side and the images are so very strong that they will stand a bit of, erm, flexibility in repro.
Mrs (or youngster) blackcap has come back from the poodle parlour lookng very striking indeed - superb pece this and just a shame it's too late for the SWLA - surely a must for that show.
