Western or Clark's Grebe, SF Bay USA (1 Viewer)

Feb 07. Thought I was taking a photo of a pair of Westerns, looking at the photo I think the bird furthest away looks Clark's ish? Paler flanks, less dark on the neck, more white around the eye, rounder head, shorter bill... Or maybe its just a photographic effect?

I agree with the Clark's. The bill is bright yellow vs dull yellow and the white extends over the eye.
