What have we Ear? (1 Viewer)

I may be relaxed but I'm not drunk....
...I think/hope this is an Ear, but is it safe to call it an "Ear Moth" or will it have to be an "agg"? Caught in Verwood, Dorset.

An aggregate for me. Obviously always formally an aggregate species but in particular, this one looks good for Saltern Ear for me.

All the best

If I can't get specimens examined I wait until I've seen a good number of the population. If there is an overwhelming trend in appearance, I find it is probably safe to call it.

Re Saltern Ear/Ear - my CR won't accept records of specimens that haven't been dissected, or at least gen det'ed.
