just to ask which greek island would you recomend in sept oct please?going with gf so wont be all birding would like to go to one of the smaller islands where a bit less people,would love to see flamingoes to as never seen any in wild,any help will be great

Hi malgringo
We went to Lesvos late Sept/early Oct in 2003. We have also been in Spring.
We saw more bird species in Spring, but still managed 115 species in Autumn.
Weather was very good and the trip very enjoyable. Stayed in Skalla Kalloni.
Our trip list did include Greater Flamingo.
