Which wet sparrow, Santorini, Greece? (1 Viewer)

Another pool visitor in Santorini on 12 June this year. I had assumed house sparrow and didn't take much notice. But I have since learnt that Spanish Sparrow might be found in Santorini or could it be balearoibericus house sparrow? Many thanks in advance for any guidance

Seems to have a grey cap so just a soggy House Sparrow I think (presumably all the other sparrows you saw there were that species?).

From memory, yes. No excessive black bibs on the males. Any thoughts on the House Sparrow subspecies in Santorini?

Looks like a female or juvenile, hence unidentifiable. Safe to assume it was whatever you normally saw round there.
