The underlying assumption that the number of Marsh Tits would remain constant regardless of scheme is wrong, though. And, yes there might have been a local decline because the breeding-pair based atlas is older than both casual citizen science schemes (still, there is a difference between the last two). Of course, the ratio of Marsh Tit vs Willow Tit is variable across Poland: the dominant species varies even between adjacent geographical areas if different types of habitat predominate in those respective places. Everybody makes mistakes. (y)

Most importantly, I'm glad about my sightings.
