Wow, I can't believe that I haven't updated my list in so long.

Nauen, Germany
Today, 8/19/12, I saw :
Buteo buteo Common Buzzard
Pica pica Elster
Corvus crone Crow
Ardea Cinera Grey Heron (Graureiher)
Phansianus colchicus Chinese Pheasant- I heard this guy in some cover on a small piece of farm.

A few pigeons, a few swallows down by the river, and some ducks that I was too far from to identify.

Yesterday near Nauen
Falco tinnunculus Kestrel
Ciconia ciconia White storks, 3 of them, in a nest on an industrial chimney of course.

Some notable birds this summer:
Fulica atra Blaesshuhn- water hen or something like that
Vanellus vanellus Kiebitz. Kiebitz, kiebitz, kiebitz!
