I think Sam gave up birding to become a normal teenager

mmmm a normal teen meaning into music, looking good and stuff? I like some of those but i not obesessed like i am with birds

I had the greatest idea ( well if you dont like it its not my fault!) why dont we do a bird forum young birder thread awards like an award for the rarest bird spotted etc? I think it could be fun. We could email eachother certificates!

Do you mean like an annual 'awards ceremony' L.E, or just a random thing from time to time?

Go ahead with it if you and everyone else wants to. I always end up running this sort of thing so would like to be part of someone else's competition or whatever for once!

Farnes and I think the Holy Island etc and a few over places but i'm not sure what there called.

Oh and I'm hoping for Puffin, Kittiwake, Shag and Dipper (all lifers)

ive heard the Farnes is amazing,well get loads of new lifers and have a great timeo

I suppose that's one way Lancashire beats Norfolk hands down-we've got lots of nice limestoney streams that are perfect for dipper.
