Our travel club chose the Yucatan for our 2012 winter trip, two weeks based at a resort in the Mayan Riviera, with seven planned guided day-trips included.
This was a trip that focused not just on birds, but also on other nature, and the historical wealth of the Mayan heritage in the Yucatan.
I am recounting our adventures on my blog, with photographic contributions from several of our group, species' lists, and information links. If you wish to start following our adventure click here.
I've attached a couple of photos as a shameless lure.
Safe travels,
Blake, Nova Scotia, Canada.
