Yucatan with no hire car (1 Viewer)

Looking like we've decided on Yucatan + Cozumel for 3 to 4 weeks in Jan. Keen to hear from anyone who's birded without a hire car. Dave Showler's report shows the north is doable without one, but any ideas of whether southern sites (eg Calakmul) are manageable would be much appreciated.

Also, great to meet up with anyone else planning to be there during that time :t:
