Identification
Distribution
Indonesia: found in the lowlands of Java and Bali.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Sometimes placed in the genus Megalaima.
Habitat
Open wooded areas and hill forests. May be found at heights up to 1,500 m.
