Identification
11–13·5 cm
- Black upperparts
- White underparts
- Black band on upper breast
Distribution
Northern Australia: found in Broome, Western Australia to Cape York Peninsula
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Dry forests, mangrove forests, tropical savanna with eucalypt and shrubby vegetation.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diets consists mostly of nectar, along with insects, including spiders and seeds.
