16-19 cm.
Distribution
Bismarck Archipelago, Louisiade Archipelago
Taxonomy
Sometimes regarded conspecific with Golden Whistler and formerly regarded conspecific with Bismarck Whistler. Now split into two species by Clements[1].
Subspecies
- P. c. collaris: Louisiade Archipelago
- P. c. misimae: Misima Island (Louisiade Archipelago)
- P. c. rosseliana: Rossel Island (Louisiade Archipelago)
Habitat
Behaviour
Feeds mainly on insects and spiders.
