Distribution
Formerly on Puerto Rico and Mona Island.
Extirpated on Puerto Rico in the mid-1800s, on Mona Island 1892.
Taxonomy
This was a monotypic species.
Formerly considered conspecific with Hispaniolan Parakeet.
