Description

Head and underparts yellow with black lores, crown washed olive in all except adult male, undertail coverts whitish. Hind-neck and upperparts olive, wings and tail blue-gray with 2 whitish wingbars, white tail-spots.

Hybridization

Interbreeds with Golden-winged Warbler, producing two main plumage types: 'Brewster's Warbler' and 'Lawrence's' Warbler.

Voice :

Song a rather harsh, buzzy beeee-BZZZZZ like a deep sigh.

Range :

Breeds east North America; winters east Mexico to central Panama.
