• Mountains of south-eastern Brazil (Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo)

• H. o. zimmeri:

• Mountains of south-eastern Brazil (Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul)

Habitat

Atlantic Rain Forest with stands of bamboo.
