Identification

20.5 cm. Grey and olive, red wing-patches, orange-red on undertail-coverts and tip of tail, yellow on females.

Distribution

China.

Taxonomy

Monotypic.

Habitat

Forest, scrub and bamboo.

Behaviour

Its diet includes fruit and invertebrates.
