Eastern Africa: found in Eritrea and Ethiopia.
Taxonomy
Oriolus monacha has two subspecies:[1]
- O. m. monacha
- Northern Ethiopia and Eritrea
- O. m. meneliki
- Southern Ethiopia
Habitat
Montane juniper forest.
