- Black face, sides of head and upper parts
- White throat
- Orangey-brown lower throat
- Blackish breast
- Orange-brown lower abdomen and thighs

- Yellow green cere
- Black bill, becoming green towards the base on the lower mandible
- Bright yellow feet
