The Plain Sunbird (Anthreptes simplex) is a species of bird in the Nectariniidae family.

13cm. Male has nondescript female–like plumage of other sunbird species but has relatively straight bill, dark iridescent blue-green forehead patch and dull greyish olive underparts. 13cm. Male has nondescript female–like plumage of other sunbird species but has relatively straight bill, dark iridescent blue-green forehead patch and dull greyish olive underparts.
