Behaviour
Nesting: 3 or 4 white, marked eggs in a loosely assembled ground nest of rootlets and grasses, sheltered by a log, rock, or patch of weeds. Voice: Song is a series of rich notes: sweet-sweet-sweet-weeta-see-see-see, similar to that of the Yellow Warbler. Call is a loud chup. Active and energetic like most warblers, the Red-faced keeps to the outside canopy of tall trees. This warbler has the characteristic habit of flicking its tail sideways.
