Distribution

Africa south of the Sahara
Western Africa': found only in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo
Eastern Africa: southern Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, western Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and northern Tanzania

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1] which in the past was placed in genus Cinnyricinclus and which is also placed in Poeoptera.

Habitat

Lightly wooded gardens.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet includes small fruits.
