Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, and Nepal.
Taxonomy
Two subspecies are recognized, humei, and roberti. These are sometimes considered different species, in which case the roberti subspecies would become Chevron-breasted Wren-Babbler or Chevron-breasted Babbler.
Habitat
Moist montanes and lowland forests.
