Identification
14 cm. Plain brown back, pale grey underparts, a broad tail and short wings, weak supercilium, and the throat is tinged orange. The sexes are identical; young birds lack the throat colouration.

Scrub and forest in the high mountain ranges.
Behaviour
The nest is built in a shrub, and 2 eggs are laid.
The diet includes insects.
