Distribution

Western Australia: South of a line from Point Culver to Geraldton (except for the far south-western corner).

Taxonomy

Monotypic.

Split from Rufous Fieldwren by Dickinson (2003) and Gill and Donsker (2010), but considered conspecific by Clements (2010).
