Distribution
Africa: Found from south Tanzania west to Zambia and northern Malawi.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Has been regarded as a subspecies of Streaky Seedeater in the past.
Habitat
Evergreen woodland edges and clearings. Open countryside.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of small seeds, berries and insects.
