Today at Martin Mere WWT in Lancs - Firecrest.
That's a first for me!

Apparently it has been around for a week or so and tends to frequent the main path near the hides with a mixed flock of Tits and Goldcrests.

Good catch paj !

I haven't seen any Firecrests in this country since the Spring when we saw two in the park in the centre of Keswick flitting about - it was a great sight.
