Hi guys, cold wind today, sightings 11am-1pm,scaup,female smew, raft of 60+cormorants,lots of teal and wigeon, and coots, mute swan, canada geese, kingfisher, reed bunting, little egret, grey heron, sparrow hawk,kestrel,20+goldfinches,wagtails,gargany,tuftys,1goosander,pochard,b/h/gulls,herring gull.lesser black backed gull.I live a short walk from the lakes, and before they had water, there was very little wildlife in general, now it is increasing year on year, so a big thank you to the water company for giving us access to the lakes.
