Hi All,
I'm looking for information on Vixen telescopes and am wondering if anybody has any experience with them or could advise me whether or not I should purchase one.

Hi Sparky77, a big welcome to BirdForum on behalf of all the moderators and admin. We hope you enjoy your time on here and spread the word about BF to your fellow birders in Ireland ... We can't help thinking we should have a few more birders from your country than we have at present.
I'm not really familiar with Vixen scopes.... I didn't realise they made birding scopes, but I did realise they make some rather good astro type scopes (and eyepieces). Hopefully another member can enlighten you (and me!) about them.
Regards,
Andy

Hi Vixen77
I have a Vixen 200mm VISAC astronomy scope which has been fantastic for that use. I wouldn't dream of using it for birding however. If that is what interests you I can go into more detail. My avatar was taken with it and there are other astro pics taken with it on my website.
