Crimson-backed Tanager (Ramphocelus dimidiatus isthmicus) female.
Habitat
Tropical premontane broadleaf forest (cloud forest/rain forest) at 626 m (2,054 ft) elevation; situated in a caldera of an extinct volcano. Grounds planted to attract birds and butterflies (Lantana, Porterweed, Firebush, etc.).
Location
Canopy Lodge, El Valle de Antón, Coclé Province, Panamá.

I can't edit at the moment and the second part of the scientific name needs to end with a us and not es.

When I was a boy I lived in Balboa, Panama and Crundu Panama it was a beautiful place with so many beautiful trees and flowers was back in 68-70 I have great memories of that place. BTW, never seen this bird thanks.
