Great Tit

Great Tit (Parus major)

I've had glimpses of young ones, but they don't want to venture into the open. The adults have to find food for them and are a bit more obvious. This one didn't give the ideal head turn, but you can just see the eye.

Thank you for your comments on my pictures, and good birding!

a gorgeous photo, John, lovely with its catch held delicately in its bill, must be quite busy feeding its young. Many thanks for sharing!
Hope the coal tits and goldcrests will soon return.
Stay safe, JJ

The bird serene amidst
the green havoc of Spring, Jonno.

An apple-fresh enchanting scene. Well taken.

I like the setting, pose and composition, John. A lovely behavioural shot.

Yeah!! And he's got a decent meal for one of his bairns, hasn't he.

That's a great picture and a super spot too John. Very well done lad.
