Slender Vervain
Slender Vervain (Verbena rigida: Verbenaceae) An introduced but well established species in Texas from the Edwards Plateau south and especially east. Native to South America. It spreads 90-120 cm (3-4 ft) wide with a height of 30-60 cm (12-24 in) tall.
Habitat
Gulf Coat Marshes and Prairies vegetation area, barrier island, several small and shallow man-made ponds surrounded by coastal prairie and coastal live oak mottes at about 14.3 m (47f t) elevation.
