    Updating Panasonic Gh4 with Canon R1O ?

    In terms of weight the R10 plus 100-400 together only weigh 962g whereas the Panasonic 100-400 lens alone weighs 985g. My Gh4 plus100-300 weigh 1080g. My aim is for a lighter set than that.

    I have had my GH4. Since 2015 together with the 100-300 mk 2 lens. On a recent holiday I saw what the. Canon R10 with 100-400 could do and was impressed. Its lighter annd has longer reach. Any helpful thoughts especially from those with experience of these appreciated BB

    I used to use a quick release plate with my old grey swarovski scope . However the foot of my current one fits into the 128 without the need for one. should I be using one anyway?

    Yes it’s fully seated , the brass knob fully depressed and the lock engaged

    I am using it with my Swarovski ATS80HD. I too having been using it for years but on holiday now despite checking it is secure and locked twice I picked up the tripod and the scope fell off. I wondered whether there was something I needed to tighten or adjust? As requested photos attached

    The scope locks in without an adapter plate. It is fitted in correctly and the locking pin locked but it still falls off

    I have been using the head with my scope for sometime. However lately even when it is in the locked position the scope has fallen off. Anyone else had this problem. Is there something I can adjust or is it just time for a new one? BB

    I am using the PA-i7 digiscoping adapter with my iPhone 7 with success. I see that Swarovski do not stock it for the iPhone 7 anymore. How does the variable VPA adapter compare in terms of fit and usability? Thanks BB

    I would like to check the id of this please. The pale pterostigma make me think Willow Emerald but there are no obvious spur marks on the thorax. So maybe an immature Emerald ? ID help appreciated BB
