SwArovski PA-i7 versus VPA (1 Viewer)

I am using the PA-i7 digiscoping adapter with my iPhone 7 with success. I see that Swarovski do not stock it for the iPhone 7 anymore.
How does the variable VPA adapter compare in terms of fit and usability?

So far so good with the VPA on my Oppo and also friend's old iPhone. Easy to setup and need to zoom up to 1.6x to eliminate the vignetting at 30x on my STX95 scope
