    Yellowhammer ? Northern Greece!

Cirl Bunting for me. Compact with short, clear streaking on breast and belly and distinct head pattern.

    Bunting, Spain

Corn Bunting for me, due to the head pattern, bolder streaking on flanks and bill structure.

    Water pipits (Central Spain)?

About the rump colour I uploaded pictures of two different Water Pipits from Bulgaria, taken in December, 2015. Actually, I don`t remember any Water Pipit with such good difference between rump and mantle in the winter season here.

    Water pipits (Central Spain)?

All three Water Pipits for me. For Rock Pipit I expect darker birds (incl. underparts), less obvious supercilium (more conspicuous eye ring) and darker bill. For me rump is variable.

    Water Pipit,North-West Greece

I think it`s a Meadow, based on finer and clear cut streakings.

    Yellowhammer without chestnut rump?

Hello Jane, Here is some Yellowhammer with not well developed rusty rump from today.

    Buntings from Kazakhstan.

I think, that first three birds are Pine Buntings. Culmen is not straight enough and the bill looks grey for Rustic. Maybe and the last bird is Pine.

    Redstart female, Croatia

Indeed, black redstart. The warm tones of the picture confused me.

    Common for me.

    Falcons in flight, Bulgaria

Hello, Can you help me with the ID of these Falcons? I think, that they are Hobby /second bird juv. with pale tipped flight and tail feathers/. The videos are from today. https://youtu.be/5FgBKcCFubw https://youtu.be/21jgUBaNTTM Thank you!

    Yellowlegs confirmations, Ottawa Canada

I think both are greater. Compare the legs in these two species: http://www.gepog.org/sites/default/files/phototeque/Tringa%20melanoleuca%20flavipes%208_09_12%20%C3%A9tang%20guat.jpeg http://www.birdingazores.com/photos/yellowlegs.jpg
