    I couldn't agree more. We often put one speices above others as we try to manage ever decreasing habitats. Culling Buzzards to protect Garden birds is just stupid.

    Can Seagulls see at night?

    Plenty of Gulls flying here at night too. Lots of ambient light by the coast. However when sea kayaking the other night I was harrassed by several gulls after my food.

    The bird in question was calling. I'm not very musical so wont attempt to describe the sound. I am definately going to have a wander in the woods again now as i am very curious. Glad i was right to be sceptical. Thanks for the input.

    I was teaching First Aid in a wood near Charmouth and heard a bird i didnt recognise. A client said it was a Black woody and they are rare. I have since heard this is pretty unlikely on the Devon Dorset border. What do you good people think?
