    In corpus cristi tx USA, this weekend. Took the enclosed picture right at the camera resolution. Looks to me like a bananaquit with the eye band and white neck and yellow chest. However it seems out of range. The other possibility is a yellow breasted chat, but I have not found any examples...

    The jaw line in my photo extends to the back of the eye, in the wahlbergs it looks to go to the middle of the eye. Ther seems to be several examples of steppe eagles with white under tail feathers in the comments and in web search photos. I am leaning towards Steppe .... Thanks for all your...
