    There is a big difference between Ireland and Scotland and that is we don't have shooting estates here. This is why it will be successful in my opinion. Also the birds of prey are not, in general, deliberately killed here, unlike in Scotland.

    Where to go in Ireland in August?

    If in the Kerry area Skellig Island is worth a visit for a family day out(and some birds).Its a pretty spectacular place. I think Puffins can be seen there until mid august. Also there is a huge Gannet colony and other seabirds.
