Basileuterus tacarcunae

Identification

13cm. Olive-green, black stripes on tan/buff head, yellowish chest/belly, brown legs.

Distribution

Local in highlands of central Panama (Panamá, Kuna Yala), eastern Panama (Cerra Tacarcuna, Darién), and adjacent northwestern Colombia (Chocó).

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic.
It was formerly included in Three-striped Warbler.

Habitat

Middle elevation wet forests.
