Genus: Rimator
Description
If recognized, this genus would contain three species of Babblers.
They have a long decurved bill (equal in length to or longer as the head), short rictal bristles, a short tail and very strong legs.
The Short-tailed Scimitar Babbler is sometimes also placed in this genus.
Taxonomy
Rimator would be a genus in the Family Pellorneidae.
It was formerly included in the family Timaliidae.
The species formerly included here are now placed in the genus Napothera.
