Description

Clements2 recognises one species, which is split by some authorities1,3 into four.

A recently discovered species, the Olive-backed Forest Robin Stiphrornis pyrrholaemus from Gabon was described in 2008.4

Taxonomy

Stiphrornis is a genus in the family Muscicapidae.
