Description

Clements² recognises one species, which is split by some authorities^1,3 into four.

A recently discovered species, the Olive-backed Forest Robin Stiphrornis pyrrholaemus from Gabon was described in 2008.⁴

Taxonomy

Stiphrornis is a genus in the family Muscicapidae.
